Alan & Jessi // Spokane Engagement

I've known & been friends with this gal for over 20 years. As kids we would make up dances in her basement, dress up dolls & do stupid stuff with our brothers on their family farm. So many memories made. To see her engaged & with a man who loves her well is so amazing.

We started out this session at Vessel Coffee Roasters & then braved the downpour of snow outside. It was a blast!

Daniel & Heidi // Spokane Engagement

I've known this beautiful lady since she was a wee little girl. I told her during the shoot that I imagined her as two different people. Little Heidi...the one I remember running around in a diaper, bothering her sister & I while we tried to play. And grown-up Heidi...the one you see in these pictures. It's hard for me to see her as one in the same.

Oh no! This must mean I'm getting old?!

After spending only a short time with them, I can tell they are a match made in heaven. I'm so happy to have captured the love between this young lady & her sweet Scottish man. Even if it means I have to accept the fact that I'm  now a grown up.

Kevin & Kaarin // Engagement Session

I would let these images speak for themselves, but I can't help to share with you what Kaarin told me when we met up for coffee to get her vision for her and Kevin's engagement shoot. Her vision was clear...

"Don't worry about getting too many lovey-dovey shots, I just want to look bad ass"

So here you go. One bad ass engagement shoot.

Matthew & Liz // Engagement Session

What do you do when the weather doesn't want to cooperate for a photo shoot? Have an awesome couple who's up for whatever...and make it awesome anyway.

This past summer I got to spend a little time with this lovely young we drove together to the shoot location, she casually mentioned to me that she didn't like pictures of herself. At the time I was a little perplexed. She's beautiful and super photogenic. And then a couple months ago she asked me to take pictures of her and her fiancé. Little did I know that I would have the pleasure of taking pictures of two extremely sweet and photogenic people. Such a fun shoot down by the river.

Nathan & Grace // Spokane Engagement

I've known Nathan since he was a year old, he is like a little brother to me. I've prayed for his someday wife many many times...and then...Grace came along. Although I'm not technically family, I felt like I was gaining a sister when they got engaged. These two are not just amazing as individuals, but incredible as a couple. They're going to dominate the face of the earth together. I'm so excited to be a part of their wedding and life together.

I simply love them.

Jeremy & Katie // Engagement Session

Any couple that says YES when I suggest a sunrise my kind of couple. I love people who are up for anything and make the photos amazing because of what they are willing to try and who they are as people. These two are no exception. I had such an amazing time bounding around in the early morning and getting to know them a bit better. I cannot wait for their wedding in May and feel so thankful to be a part of the process.
