Shelby Ritzenthaler // Arizona Portrait

There is so much inspiration that comes when you are running out of light and are shooting in a scenery you've never photographed in before. The jolt of panic to get "the shot" before the sun goes down is invigorating. In this case I had a beautiful subject & full control of the shoot. It doesn't get much better. I kinda can't help but love these images.

Whitney & Bethany // Alabama Portrait

Bethany hates getting her photo taken. She hardcore wines every time I mention taking pics of her & Whit. Which is silly because they are adorable & their adorableness should be documented more often. The two of them are incredible photographers themselves, but hardly have any photos of themselves, so I basically force them into it whenever I get a chance.

And I don't feel bad about it. I'm such a good friend ;).

Austin & Macey // Spokane Engagement

Our love stories are so very different. They vary in time, age & accounts. Some are easy, some take work. Some come with baggage, others ease into it like it was what they were always meant for. Often there is one or two (or more) before we find the one that captures our heart forever. And sometimes..."there is one we never saw coming, one that will last, one that shows us why it never worked out before. And it's that possibility that makes trying again worthwhile, because the truth is, you never know when you'll stumble into love."

For this sweet couple, their stories before each other play into who they are now. Macey shared this beautiful story & quote with me as we drove around getting to know each other & taking beautiful photos. I love love loved our time together. What an adorable pair they are.

"You found parts of me I didn't know existed & in you I found the love I no longer believed was real" -Unknown

Brett & Heather // Coeur d'Alene Wedding

Some weddings have everything going for them from the very beginning. This one started with a basset hound named Kaylee Sue, some beautiful details and a relaxed and beautiful bride. The chances of perfection were high...and it just got better!

Loved this perfect little winter wedding. Congrats Brett & Heather

Europe // Iceland

I finally had time to edit my favorite place we went on our trip this summer. Stop #4 was Iceland...and it was crazy cool. Probably the only place we went that I already desperately want to get back to. Every hour we drove was like stepping onto another planet. It made me stand in utter awe at the world God created & blessed that I to get to set foot in it. Iceland was by far my favorite. Enjoy.

Europe // Paris

I bet you thought I forgot to blog the rest of our Europe trip didn't you?! Well surprise there's more! And the last one will be the best...so don't forget to check back for Iceland.

Stop #3 was Paris. I don't even feel like it needs an explanation. What you think Paris will be like in your head...is exactly what it is. Beautiful, big, perfectly manicured, historic & people everywhere. One thing should be noted; my favorite spot/day in France (which you will see below) was actually NOT in Paris. It was our bike tour through Versailles. Incredible history & imagery.

Europe // Norway

More pictures from our trip to Europe. Stop #2 was Norway! This was a much different experience from London. We spent most of our time on the small & beautiful island of Flekkerøy & stayed with a family who hosted, fed & spoiled us rotten. We all felt like we got a true taste of their day to day life. Favorite moments of Norway...

-Sheep. I love them. They made me smile so big.

-Crab fishing. We went at midnight on our last night & it was the most hilarious, nerve wracking & wonderful memory I took away from Norway

-The family we stayed with. So blessed by them & their kids.
